If you decide to use a new service provider, or are already working with someone, you can simply assign them access rights to your Business Manager. You can then work with the service provider of your choice.

It is then no longer necessary to have a new Business Manager created by a service provider. You can use it forever.

Theoretically, yes. It is often offered by agencies and seems like the easier solution at first glance. But it is not recommended:

1. This gives your agency control over your advertising account. Some agencies do not allow their clients access to their own advertising accounts, but only share results through reports. I would never rely on that.

2. When the collaboration ends, some agencies demand a transfer fee for the advertising account. It's pure money-making.

3. You would either have to store your payment method in the agency's Business Manager, or the agency would have to store its payment method and bill you for the advertising budget. This is not an ideal solution. Not even for the agency – in case the payment method is blocked.

You should always have control over your advertising accounts and all associated assets.

That basically depends on how much you already have in place (personal Facebook account, two-factor authentication, credit card).

Since you also have to create the Business Manager via your personal Facebook account, you will ideally need 1-2 hours to complete this step together with me in a call.

Allowing for all eventualities, you should expect it to take a week.

At Meta, the rule is: if you want to advertise here, you have to bare all your data.

That doesn't mean you now have to actively use Facebook privately.

But Meta's Community Guidelines require that every advertiser must be identifiable.

This means: you need a private profile with your real name and two-factor authentication.

You don't need a profile picture. But Meta wants to ensure that there is a real person with a real company behind the advertising account.

With Meta Business Manager, no one has access to your private account and no one can see it. Conversely, your private profile does not show any connection to your Business Manager.

Meta's community guidelines only allow one profile with your real name. Otherwise, you risk having one or even both accounts blocked.

With a blocked private account, you cannot place ads on Meta either.

Each user can create a maximum of 2 Business Managers.

If you have already created 2 Business Managers, you can either rename an existing Business Manager or ask your business partner to create a Business Manager.

The question is: why do you need a second Business Manager? I believe the only reason to create a second Business Manager is if something has been blocked.

If this is the case, first try to unblock the asset.
